 Class of 2026 Rome Science Hall of Fame (SHOF)


To recognize the academic achievements of the Class of 2026 Rome Science Hall of Fame (SHOF), we will be holding a  celebratory reception on Tuesday, June 2 from 6-7pm at the Rome Historical Society (200 Church St. Rome, NY). This event will be a memorable evening as we look to honor the SHOF class of 2026.  Please mark your calendars and join us.

Volunteers Needed for National Historic Marker Weekend Community Service Project Mohawk Valley 


Join  Oneida County History Center for the annual National Historic Marker  Weekend on Saturday, April 25, 2026. This year's project is to clean the  markers at the Herkimer Homestead State Historic Site located at 200  NY-169, Little Falls, NY. This stately home was built in 1764 by  Nicholas Herkimer famously injured at the Battle of Oriskany. Visit oneidacountyhistory.org to register for this event.
