-A Widow's Story, A Quest for Her Husband's Revolutionary War Pension-
We’re honored to welcome David Powell, President of the Empire State Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, for a special presentation that dives deep into the legacy of Revolutionary War soldiers and the pension rights afforded to them and their families.
David brings a wealth of knowledge and a passionate commitment to preserving the stories of those who fought for our country’s independence. His talk will explore the real-life impact of early veterans' benefits, the struggles faced by soldiers and their widows, and how these early systems of support helped shape our nation’s values.
Whether you're a history buff, a genealogist, or simply curious about the personal side of the American Revolution, you won’t want to miss this engaging and insightful event.
